I DIY’d: Lattice Hem Crop Tank
The “I DIY’d” series, Part Dos. In preparation for summer BBQ’s, this week I tackled a DIY post from Clones and Clowns
Attempt #2: Crop Tank with Lattice Trim
This faux crochet-trim tank is getting paired with my high waisted denim shorts this summer. Don’t have a tank to play with? Shop printed tanks at SWELL- Hardest part:
Assuming you do not have kitty cats (lots of strings involved), then patience. Patience is the hardest part of this DIY project. - Tips:
1. Count twice, cut once. You’ll need an even number of pieces.
2. Cut the pieces longer than you think. Much longer.
3. Sharp scissors. - Time: 45 minutes, depending on how long you want the lattice to be
- My Spin: I added a hi-lo hem. Next step…dip dying!
- Results: see photo above
Conclusion: I’d rater this a 9 out of 10 on the DIY-able scale (10 being so easy, a common fruit bat could figure it out)
